Notifications
Keep up with replies, mentions, and reactions on a Barazo forum, in the app and by email.
Notifications tell you when something on the forum involves you: a reply to your topic, a mention, or activity on a discussion you're part of.
Where they show up
In the forum. A notifications view lists what's new. Open it to catch up and jump straight to the post that triggered each one.
By email. Where a forum has email configured, you can also get notified without keeping the tab open. This is a forum-level setting, so an admin turns on email delivery for the community.
What triggers a notification
- Someone replies to your topic or to one of your replies
- Someone mentions you
- Activity on discussions you're following, depending on the forum
Managing them
Open your settings to control what you're notified about and how. If a forum sends email, you can usually choose which kinds arrive in your inbox versus only in the app.
Notifications are optional. If you'd rather just check in when you feel like it, you can turn delivery down or off and read the notifications view whenever you visit.
